afffordable and fastThis laptop has been wealthy strong for over a year. It's not the fastest out there, but I don't notice the lack of speed often. Additional, it has been dragged all over the planet and is still going strong.
..and upgrade to Windows 7 is being denied...
Well, it's not the worst sentiment in the world for $400. But the guy at Frys stated it definitely would be upgradable for unhindered to Windows 7, but surprise, Acer support is telling me it's NOT eligible. No common sense, just it doesn't happen to be on their list, even though it is a Vista Home In short supply installation.
That's pretty crappy. I'm still hoping to be able to shame them into honoring that make.
It rates OK on the Vista Experience rating, except for the "gaming graphics" kind which is feeble. Since I don't do any gaming on it, I'm willing to put up with that.

Pointless piece of crap. It's ok I guess if you cannot find anything else and just want a beater computer but this inanimate object is a pure waste of time. It takes forever to boot up with Vista, runs videos and pulchritudinous much everything very slow, has [...] ACER bloatware pre-installed that brings you to [...] ACER bS everytime you begin the internet and boot the computer.....terribly annoying. The sound standing sucks, the screen resolution is decent, the performance and speed sucks, the video be unsecretive sucks, and as stated this is just a waste of time. Gateway ceil accept bribes is better.
