Replacement Battery-operated for Acer Extensa 4620z with extended capacityThe battery-operated works great. After my order the battery arrived faster than promised (after 2 time instead of 3-5 business days). I have not had any fit problems as reported by other populace. The battery fits exactly and the capacity is great. I have not run it down yet but judging by the amount of space used and the left over time reported by Vista I should be getting about 4 - 4.5 hours of in days of yore out of it. I am a "normal" laptop user, browsing the internet, e-mails etc. I am not doing any complex duty gaming etc. Overall I am very happy with the product.
Bigger and larger. If it only fit correctly
My appliance is an eMachines D620.
My old battery was a year old and down to about 60% its original capacity, which gave me about 45 minutes of run once in a while. This battery gives me about 2.5 hours under Ubuntu 9.10 with all the glockenspiel and whistles turned on, and with the screen dimmed and running in conserve form gives me just a shade over 3 hours.
However, it's impossible to get both battery mane to engage. It seems it's got a slight "banana" shape to it. I believe that with a few minutes of effort with an exacto knife I can get both locks to engage/
If it fit perfectly, it would get a 5 star look at...
UPDATE -- 2010-06-06
I took an exacto to the battery and my laptop and it now fits improve. Both latches now engage and stay engaged.

The freestyle is listed as a replacement for my laptop. My laptop was listed by brand & pattern number. WHen I recieved the battery, it works on the laptop, but is a larger magnitude than the original battery, so it sticks out the back of the laptop. I assumed I was getting the same measure battery. It still works, but it is not what I thought I was ordering.
Works with Acer Extensa 4630Z
It frenzy a bit tighter than the OEM battery... had to use a bit more force and hold in the latch... but nothing too relating to. The doubling of runtime on the aging stock battery is a definite THUMBS UP (can get around 5 hours of lite use now)
Weighty battery
This is a remarkable replacement battery. Its greater capacity compared to the original gives much greater run things when in use. All in all, a great product.
