Abundant Laptop! Before this, I had a IBM ThinkPad perpetual XP. It was slow and I couldn't do much with it. Then I switched over to Mac. Mac OS X is the best operating system out there. It's easy to use, but it's so strong. My MacBook has beautiful design and is well thought out. My only complaints are that it costs quite a bit and it gets hotter when in use than my IBM did. iThink--ahem, I call to mind a consider, that iLife is a great software suite. I got iWork too, which runs well on it. I bought Colin McRae Meet Mac and it runs admirably on the Mac, besides about a second of lag every 15 minutes.
The processor is blazing sybaritically, but I hope Apple will upgrade all their computers to i3, i5, and i7 Intel processors. The Nvidia graphics are wonderful. And the guard? Well, the screen is incredibly bright. The colors are vivid and bright. I would extremely recommend getting a MacBook.
Exclusive of experince
Model packaging, which was not even opend. Exactly the same product which I wanted. Most important is well-timed delivery. Just within 3-4 dys of order.
Apple MacBook Rules!
I light of one's life the MacBook! You're instantly greeted by glorious full screen brightness. The LED-backlit show is power efficient. And it's mercury and arsenic free. I like the smaller, lighter support, compared to any PC. Measuring a mere 1.08 inches thin and weighing in at only 5.0 pounds. It also offers a together keyboard design that sits flush against the bed for a sleeker, lower graph. Other standard Apple "extras" includes a built-in iSight video camera. Stylishly and wisely designed, the MacBook has everything I am looking for: affordability, innovation, powerful computing. My MacBook has a 2.13 GHz Intel Sum 2 Duo processor with a 160 GB hard drive, plenty of room for music, photos, videos, and more. Armaments features include a built-in Gigabit Ethernet for high-forward networking, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate), two USB ports, FireWire, and Mini-DVI video achieve. Apple has an updated model (10/09) with a 250 GB hard drive. I do not sine qua non the extra memory, amazingly, the newer model, does not have a FireWire seaport.
I like Apple's magnetically connected MagSafe power adapter. This star offers a magnetic connection instead of a physical one. If you to cruise over a power cord, you won't send MacBook flying off a table or desk, the line simply disconnects, without damage to either the cord or the system. The adapter is easy to unite and disconnect without having to struggle with the connector. Opening and closing your MacBook is also a preference, thanks to a magnetic latch, there are no moving parts to snag, jam, or disrupt break up. Again, I do not have to struggle with some PC toggle switch to open my MAC.
The 160 GB Serial-ATA (SATA) untiringly drive (5400 RPM) high speed transfer of data, equivalent to FireWire and USB 2.0. The 2 GB of DDR2 RAM (two SO-DIMMs of 512 MB) have an 800 MHz speed, and the RAM capability can be increased to 4 GB. The 13.3 inch glossy widescreen display, top-hole video processing power from the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics check, and an integrated 802.11n Wi-Fi LAN, provides compatibility with older 802.11b/g routers. It includes an 8x combo Superdrive for aflame dual-layer DVDs as well as CDs. It comes pre-loaded with Apple's Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard operating system, the iLife '09 cortege of applications, including iPhoto, iMovie, Garageband, and iTunes.
Battery-operated lasts between 5 and 6 hours. The hafnium-infused circuitry--which reduces electrical simultaneous leakage in transistors conserves even more energy, giving you more time somewhere else from the wall outlet. Apple has worked hard to eliminate many of the toxins that are a hackneyed part of computer manufacturing. Apple engineers removed the majority of brominated flame retardants (BFRs) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) from bound boards, internal cables, connectors, insulators, adhesives, in the MacBook.
Because Apple makes both the machinery and the software for the MacBook, they're designed to work together to produce a smarter product that uses less intensity. The MacBook hard drive spins down automatically when inactive. The MacBook also decides which processor CPU or GPU is most suitable suited to efficiently perform a task. The processor even throttles down to reserve power between keystrokes as you type. Together, these adjustments make the MacBook much more energy thrifty and result in fewer CO2 emissions.
Made in America by Americans. I have gone through four separate PCs using Microsoft operating systems in four years. Microsoft makes a bad spin-off, cheaply and poorly designed made in Asia. The Asian hard drives recurrently failed and crashed. Programs were slow to load and constantly crashed. The MAC is fanatstic. The upper Apple product is well designed, efficient and dependable. The Apple MacBook MC240LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop is the best that I have owned! I quite endorse and recommend Apple products to anyone.
Be hep of defective LCD
A lot of this prototype have defective Samsung LCD panel in it.
[...]
I got one. And it is such a hassle to have Apple to repair or replace it for you.
I already tried to vamp twice, every time they return still defective. And they won't replace it for me. Horrible chap service and quality control.
Horrible. Stay away. I remember this is already the last generation, but still, stay as far away from this computer as possible.
pathetic hardware
We purchased a enlargement of this item for the teachers in our school. The software is excellent but we are very disappointed with the components. Before our units reached 1 year, most of us brought them to the service center already. most had chipped off parts. some had hornet's nest with hard disks. the unit was covered for the first year but considering how well it gets damaged, i think it won't take long 'til we need to spend more for this entity. Please get the new mac book instead and don't settle for this unit. you will regret it!
