installed my freestyle this year.....by may 1 it didn't work at all. followed instructions for set up and recharging unerringly as said. Will never buy anything from this manufacturer again!!

Dreadful!
Battery-operated was fine for about two months or so. After that, the metal cover started to come off - as so many others have prominent. This would have been fine, had it not been for the fact that the charge also stopped holding. Battery would die within partially an hour or so, or less. And now it remains steady at a solid 0% charge after about 4 months of use. In fact, Do NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Doesn't M!
This battery-operated worked with the charge it had out of the box but never once after that. It wont take a charge and is USELESS. You may think you will set free a lot of money but in fact its a waste of money.

Harken to to the other poor reviews!
I expectation, "Oh, those bad reviews can't all be correct. I can save some bucks ordering this battery." But, fair-minded like others have said, the battery's cover comes off (literally becomes unglued), juicy the inside of the device. Mine completely fell apart and couldn't be decided earlier this evening, less than five months from when I bought it. Very poor manufacturing to be inescapable. Get a different one - that's what I'm doing on Amazon right...now.

Monstrous Performance!!!
I was a bit skeptical when I ordered this battery-operated, since it wasn't offered from the usual, larger retailers for Mac products. When I received it (delivering was quick and easy), I noticed it was slightly off-color to the silver Macbook Pro top, and I thought, "What's the difference, it's on the bottom anyway." Once the battery received a full charge, I noticed an instantaneous difference in my Macbook's performance. It's SO much faster and performed much like a new computer. Even with the power adapter plugged in, it performs faster than before with the wares battery. It just so happens that my son has the same Macbook, and his battery expired as well. I'm ordering another one, today!
