Not 85W! It's a 60W adaptor
The adapter comes with a marker that says it's 85W, but when you go into the system profiler you will see that it's only giving you 60W.

gets the job done/AFFORDABLE
after a lot of impressive around my original charger broke and i was sick at the thought of buying a replacement from the apple accumulate for 80 dollars!! then i happened to come across this one on amazon, read the reviews and firm it was definitely worth a try to save 40 dollars, in the end just as dependable as the original looks great works great saves you resources i definitely recommend this charger for anyone in need of a charger that is inexpensive, for their precious macbook btw works with any size macbook pro.I have a 15 inch macbook pro and this charger is very compatible also works on my friends 13 inch. Powerfully RECOMMENDED!!

I got what Amazon described and it works superior
I was doubtful of what would happen when I one-clicked the order button for this item--some reviewers have received a just adapter that resembles the MacBook Pro adapter shipped by Apple (minus the Apple logo), others have received varying combinations of parts.
I received accurately what was pictured next to the product description at the time I ordered: a long, corpse-like, rectangular brick with a MagSage connector attached at one end, and a female socket to consent to the AC cord at the other end. The brick contains a switching power supply (AC, ~120-240V), which I can show works just fine on both 120VAC and 240VAC as I just returned from a leading European trip. The black label contains all appropriate regulatory endorsements with the lockout of Underwriters' Labs (UL).
The adapter functions quite similarly to the OEM Apple adapter. The MagSafe connector appears to be an Apple-meant pigtail. Some reviewers said that the light on the connector remains on when it is unplugged from the MB. It appears that a capacitor is being discharged in the power distribute, as the light eventually goes off. (The same behavior is apparent when the power accumulation itself is unplugged from the AC source.)
This is a fine replacement product for the Apple adapter, at about partially the price. It is marginally less convenient for traveling, as the MagSafe cord does not self-cache on the adapter as it would on the Apple version. But that is a minor quibble, and after three weeks of hard use I can stand up for it.

60 watt adapter with an 85 watt earmark
Sounds like there are multiple versions of this offshoot floating around, but mine was a generic brick-style adapter with an 85-watt stamp. To me, that was no big deal if it worked fine.
However, when connected and then queried via System Profiler in my new MacBook Pro 15" (core i5 series), it shows 60 watts, which is not adequate to power this laptop. The labels and descriptions are not accurate.

The parts maker has very shabby quality control...
I purchased one of these adapters about a month ago as a replacement for my disobeyed magsafe adapter from my 17" macbook pro. While the adapter is billed as an 85W model, and also has 85W printed on the part itself, it will only output 60W (adequate for a smaller MBP, but not 17" model) I contacted the seller and they promptly exchanged the part for a new one, and paid for revert shipping for the defective part. Much to my dismay, the replacement also shows that it is an 85W model, but still has the require same issue. I am now asking the seller for a complete refund rather than another exchange.

TOXIC Foetor!!! ...well, months later, IS OK, smell is gone finally
I got this as a capability for someone and was very embarrassed when my friend opened the package and it smelled so, so bad! It smells like some toxic overindulgence and my friend was afraid to touch it or to put the laptop in it. So it was a waste of in clover. The material, though with irregular spots, is overall well sewn together, but the stink makes the case useless. So disappointed! Arrived on convenience life.

Big Product
I bought this for my MacBook Air, and the sleeve feels in reality soft and fits my macbook air nicely. And it is also thick enough to protect my sleeves from being bumped around. I strikingly like the color, and it is reversible. Can't go wrong with this. Great Buy. And the item indoors very quickly also. I will recommend this to eveyone who is mac lover.

Works as expected
Provable battery. Holds a charge for a couple hours, no problems. Fit my 2008 macbook pro (silver-toned keys).
One thing I did notice is that my computer doesn't sleep right anymore. In lieu of, it simply shuts down when the battery gets too low and has to be restarted. I imagine that's a poser with the mac though, not the battery.

Serves its wittingly b especially!
The freestyle is doing great! My old mac battery pretty much blew up out of its shell and no longer sat in the indictment component so I had to keep it plugged into an outlet all the time to keep the computer from dying. It's so nice to have a valid battery again!

So far, so believable
Bought this mobile after one of my Apple batteries exploded--fortunately it was the one NOT in my computer. It was probably three years old, so I can't complain, but I did require to save some money, so I bought this aftermarket battery instead of a $130 Apple mobile. I have had it for about three weeks and, so far, it works just like a new Apple battery. I am going to buy another now. I am distressed about ever using my other Apple battery again, after seeing the first one expand, sitting in a drawer. I get at least two hours of load out of this Apple compatible, so I am satisfied.
