Overwhelming
The line is perfect! It is so hard to find an older cord to fit my PowerBook, but this is exactly what I was looking for. It looks ethical like the Apple brand and actually seems to work better. The indicator torchlight works great, too. It arrived a few days before it was supposed to and that was even better.
Apple Ibook power adapter
A cheese-paring power adapter that works - so far-. I bought two because the pins on the power tip (o.m.e. or after retail) are really flimsy. Pretty chinsy of the seller to double shipping tariff when the two adapters shipped together. Still a good deal.
Not what I ordered, but it works
I contemplation I was ordering what was in the picture, but when I got the product it was an aftermarket off brand (Deckcell) mount. It works fine, not what I ordered though. Here is a link to what you will actually get if you order this.

Embiz Delivered, but. . .
The filler works exactly as described. Ordering was easy, as was order tracking, except that the detail arrived so quickly, tracking was not necessary. Unlike the original adapter, this one does not have a lace into included that shows if it is plugged in far enough to make a connection. This is not a major topic, though. My only concern during the ordering process was difficulty finding EMbiz on the BBB web place. No matter what I typed in, including EMbiz, EM Biz, or any other name I could find on the EMbiz site, I could not find any log with the BBB. Despite the Amazon ratings as being mostly positive, I also like to review companies on the BBB place as well. As I mentioned, however, I was fortunate that EMbiz delivered as promised, and delivered right away. I will have no hesitation in ordering from them again in the future.

Looks nothing like the illustration.
well, it works, for now at least, but it doesn't look anything like the illustration, I'm serious, the only thing that matches the product and the picture is the color.

Enormous computer
Excellent computer. Has the slot loading cd drive. Burn your own cd watch your favorite dvds. Remove files from Microsoft Office to your other pcs. Search the internet without the fear of a virus. Retard your email. Great starter Mac. Best part is it has a very stable operating system, which means it won't collapse as often (if ever) as some other pcs might.

Gosh Darnit
It is a millon times think twice than a Dell or any other windows computer. I should know i have a powerhouse windows xp pro machine. I use it for internet with the life-threatening card awesome and easy to install. It was worth the 80 buckaroos. I also adoration the simplicity with my beloved 15 gb g3 iPod. The next computer may as well be a Mac it runs smoother faster and It is alot simpler. And 30 gb is more than enough space also even with how much i use it 256 ram is beutiful on the macs. I gave it a 5 because about 2 weeks it distorted my view on what a good computer should be.
Mac OSX is agreeably, but the hardware is years out of date
I had this pad for a few months, having switched from the PC to the Mac platform. OSX is a contender... it has grown entirely a bit over the past few years to be a true alternative to Windows. If you are the type who only requests a few core applications (as 90% of computer users are), you might seriously consider the Mac rostrum.
However, Apple needs to get their hardware out of the stone-age. The iBook is a toy, and a 800mhz processor *is indeed* slow. Mac Zealots will rebuke you otherwise, that the G4 platform is more efficient than x86, etc. This may have been true five years ago, when the G4 was first introduced and comparable to the then-contemporaneous Pentium IV. But x86 has come a long way since then (Athlon64 anyone?), and the G4 is very, very slow in contrasting. Think of the specs... 133mhz bus. 0.8GHZ processor, 256mb RAM, 30GB HD. The LCD is only talented of 1024x768, and is extremely dim and slow.
I could reccomend this notebook to students who have occasion for something simple to get their work done, home users that surf the internet wirelessly throughout the building... or a second computer in homes already with a powerful desktop (like a G5...!) who would like roaming wireless capabilities. This isn't a pre-eminent machine for a moderate user who demands even a little power for applications.
Pros: Looks discriminating, feels good, fun to use and look at. Runs OSX, which is great.
Cons: Wimpy small toy under the hood. Don't expect much. The Powerbooks are a better choice for power-users, but Apple requirements to bring the G5 to their laptop line soon.

Adept machine
I've got friends with this (I ourselves have a 15" PowerBook) machine, and it's great. With OS X I recommend at least 512mb of ram, but for the irregular user, 256 would work.
And a side note...multiple users posted reviews about how old and outdated an 800mhz processor is; one feeling these people don't know is that it's not x86. Anything non-x86 (POWER, PowerPC, SPARC, MIPS, Alpha, etc) is much mastery than anything x86. One number I've heard is that in the days of 100mhz, anything non-x86 was 2 to 2.5 times the haste (100mhz Alpha = 200, 250mhz x86).

Wondrous Laptop
This detail was made 5 years ago and keeps up with my brand new netbook. The battery life is astonishing and it runs smooth. The only downside to this computer is the 40gb HD. But with networked and regular external drives, shoot memory and such, it not that big of a deal.
All in all, this is my first mac and I love it.

The source netbook.
I've had a 12" iBook G4 since 2005 and it's still my predilection notebook for browsing the internet, writing letters, and even reading pdf's. It's very lightweight and I take into account the screen the perfect size. It's held up very well. One of the keys has a hairline shatter and one of the rubber feet on the bottom fell off but I clean it every month or so and it still looks almost new.
My only assessment is that it gets a little warm so I keep it on top of a clipboard when holding it in my lap. No viruses, no crashes, no worries.
When netbooks started becoming commonplace a couple of years ago, I had to laugh because I already have a lightweight, handy netbook. In in truth, I'm using it right now to write this review. Given a choice between a new Asus or Dell netbook or a familiar iBook G4 for the same price, I would take the G4 without thinking about it for a second.
Pry it out of my unprepared dead hands!

Excellent for a student!!!
In the mainI have recently bought a iBook G4. To tell you about it, this laptop has made me more happy than ever. I was always a Windows maniac, but when I saw this, I got excited. This had everything, iLife, iTunes, etc. No more buying programs like opposed to-viruses or video editing software. Mac has it all!!!
Mine had integrated Bluetooth (gentle for transfering data from your cellphone), 802.11g Wireless (for on the go), and Mac OS X 10.4.11 (Which Macs are punter than "Windows"). I compared my laptop to my other relatives' laptops. My aunt bought an HP laptop, and when she uses it, the fan blows like unsound and she isn't doing anything. The iBook didn't do that.
I could still be bragging about my Mac, but really! It's the best thing ever! I am not affluent back to Windows, EVER!!!, even if it was part of my childhood. I never knew that these stuff existed.

Unforgivable student computer
ibooks are a artistic student computer. I have purchased one for each of my 4 children and never regretted it. Since it is an Apple I don't have to worry about accidental clicking that could motive viruses and with the Microsoft Office 04, the kids can easily transmittal their documents and projects to any pc with Office. The iBooks have been very durable and an economical alternative to the extortionate pc laptops. Now with Leopard, I can monitor my kids computer time, set child/computer bedtimes, study/limit and the websites and I don't have to pay extra for this it is built in. The kids like all the games and the power to control their laptops with voice commands. I like that I can stay in lever of my kids computers without being a computer scientist.

Dave Gorman: I. Hate. Apple.
Of by all means I have to be in Lizard on Sunday morning so I'm absolutely leaving London on Friday which means I have ethical four period to blow up b coddle conclusive measures, see the distinguished residents and do the wordy paperwork that will delegate my accountant to do the even-more unending paperwork required to keep the charge of a self-employed merry andrew ticking over.
