I expected pinnacle, considering the money I spent.
When I splurge more than $500 for a laptop, I expect it to be free from obvious and annoying imperfections, extraordinarily when the manufacturer is as well known and regarded as Dell. Yes, it has a dual-core processor and is fixed, even with Vista; and it has a nice appearance. But the screen is highly reflective, almost like a repeat--I can see myself in it clearly while the laptop is booting up; there is a little less reflection while I am working on it, because of the backlighting. I ordered an opposed to-glare screen on eBay, and I hope that it will solve the problem. Also, the unimpaired quality is terrible; I had to turn off the Windows start-up theme because the shoddy sound irritated me so much. I once owned a ten-year old IBM laptop that had better sane. I purchased the Dell Inspiron on eBay and had no way of knowing what I was buying, except for the reviews that I read--and they did not introduce these two defects.

Surprisingly Ample!
I bought this laptop before a year-elongated trip to Europe. I tried it in Best Buy and was really impressed by the lean to of the keyboard and buttons. The slot-drive loading DVD player has me spoiled- I never fancy to get a drawer-drive again!
What's most amazing about this thing is the performance- My friends' HP's with equivalent specs are much slower. We can't figure out why. I used this for school as an Urban Planning evaluator and I've run heavy software on it with favorable results. AutoCAD 2010, Adobe CS2 convoy, Rhino... you name it. Faster computers can be had, but it's doable! I make my living doing graphics, and I've in reality done a lot of pro graphic design on this thing while on the road. InDesign does bog down a bit when you get over 25-30 Hi Res links though. Still- it's stimulating.
My previous machine was a Sony VAIO FS series with a 15" filter. I didn't have too much difficulty moving to a 13" screen. Why? I purposely chose a Dell that had an Interchangeable native resolution (1280 X 800)even thought the screen was physically smaller. This is something a lot of shoppers don't upon. The 13" displays just as much information as the larger screen. Same info, smaller be made up of factor. Not a bad trade-off.
Got the 9 Cell battery and I've gotten 4+ hours on this fixation.
I might be a Dell customer for life. I'm looking at their Studio 17 now.... but I'll keep my coddle.
PS- Here's a little expert advice for the computer shopper: The ONLY reason to buy a MAC is for an aluminum casing. That's it. They have no advantage over PC's and the ads lie so blatantly that I cringe when I watch them. Also, the only time I've lost a conjure up due to a system crash in the last two years was... on my company's MAC!! IT guy said, "oh yeah, it does that". Try not to let your college-elderly daughter talk you into buying her a fashion accessory, um, I mean, a MAC. You can do much superiority.

Power crowded but a little......SMALL?!
I can't say enough about this terrifying little notebook. It kicks the pants off of every HP notebook I have ever owned. It boots unusually fast, has a great display ( super bright!) has a substantial strike one and the keys are solid. It consistantly makes it to the three hour mark on a full control, with the screen brightness near max.
I bought this notebook as a replacemnt to my HP that was complex in the class action power converter plug deal. <---technical jargon > This pad is a little too small for what I am currently using it for but I deal with the 13" room divider because I LOVE it so much.
This is an excellent choice for business, home or the student.

I got the rope so quickly and it works perfectly! It is a little shorter than others, but worth it to me for the payment. I love it!

Absolute replacement for OEM
I impute to some reviews of this product before I bought it and a few of them said that the adapter heats up when Heraldry sinister plugged in. I have left this plugged in since the day I received it and it has never felt much warmer than cell temp. I believe the manufacturer has dealt with the heat problem. Charges unmistakably, looks like the OEM adapter. I would recommend this to anyone needing a replacement. Its not quality the extra $40 to get one direct from dell.

Replacement mount
Very belongings experience so far. My previous charger just stopped working quickly. I got this charger and it has been working fine. It does get a bit hot so I just let my computer charge fully and part it.

DOESN'T Effort!!
I PURCHASED THIS Mount FOR MY DELL COMPUTER, AND IT DOESN'T CHARGE MY LAPTOP. A POP UP KEEPS COMING UP THAT I NEED A DELL Mare, NOT THIS ONE. I HAVE TO KEEP IT PLUGGED IN TO WORK. THE PIECES ARE LOOSE, SO WHEN A PIECE COMES UNPLUGGED, THE WHOLE COMUPUTER SHUTS OFF. NOW I AM WAITING FOR DELL TO SEND ME A NEW ONE, I ENDED UP WAISTING MY Small change AND SHOULD HAVE WENT WITH DELL IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Very much quality it
The thing came very quickly and it works perfectly on my Dell Inspiron. Saved alot of profit by not buying the factory replacement. It's just a little shorter than the one that came with my Dell.
