The computer was refurbished and in very passable condition, it is not as fast as the new models now, but the price savings was worth it, it is being in use accustomed to by my daughter for school work and some games, I am planing on buying a backer one for myself.
Works well, but has a aptitude point of failure.
While an low-cost replacement for a laptop charger the quality is not great on the insulation/auxiliaries of the cable where it attaches to the adapter. This piece showed wear almost when after purchase (the cable from the adapter to the outlet) and will fail quickly. It was solved with a wrap of seal to prevent damage to the conductors. This product works well for charging the laptop.

What should I do when my DELL LATITUDE D800 could not found its primary hard disk drive?
Q: I have this problem with my DELL LATITUDE D800 laptap/notebook. When I turn it on it shows a black screen which says:
Primary hard disk drive 0 not found
No bootable devices- - strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility
What should I do?
Help me please.

A: Either your harddrive is faulty or your boot-sector is faulty.
First press F2, and enter the BIOS. Try to locate the harddrive setup and search for the drive. However though this is easy, it's probably not what's wrong.
Try using your original Windows XP cd and boot on this disk, to see if the XP setup utility can repair your installation.
Try using a harddrive diagnostics tool such as seatools for dos.
Unfortunately, the message: Primary hard disk drive 0 not found, normally means that your harddisk is faulty and all your data is lost. It can also be the wires inside your computer, that somehow fell out of their sockets, e.g. the power to the harddisk or SATA/IDE cables. A long shot is that your harddisk controller is faulty, however this is unlikely. (can be checked by putting your harddisk in another computer.)
