You get what you pay for....
Some serious problems: If I wad the adapter in, I have to take out the battery or the computer, for whatever reason, switches back and forth from battery to AC every few seconds. Not passable. When I use the adapter, my touchpad mouse completely goes crazy. I use the mobile or the original adapter, and everything's fine. The adapter gets incredibly hot. Not great for me. Maybe you'll have better luck!

The matter arrived in a timely fashion and was just as advertised. I am very pleased and would exhort this seller.
Justified what I wanted
at first I was skeptical about this power provisioning, then I thought, what the hell, it's cheap. It works well and is cheap, what else can I say
I would recommend this to others with a gateway laptop who necessary a new power supply
Anticipate = YES / High quality=NO
This was a replacement for a Gateway laptop power victual that went bad. I purchased this item because it was priced lower than all others items on the internet for my laptop. I have had it for three weeks and it works satisfying. The unit does not have a power light like the one it replaced, which was amicable because you could tell if the old unit was getting power when plugged in. However plugging the portion into the laptop will cause my laptops charging light to come on, so not a actual big deal. The weird thing with this unit is now when plugged into the wall next to my escritoire, the TV on a different wall outlet starts getting a little meddling. I unplug the power supply and the interference goes away. I use wired internet and when the power providing is closer to the Ethernet cable the interference increases. This never happed with the old component. I figure this units wiring might not be as shielded as the original power accommodate from gateway but overall it works.
