    Only worked for 2 weeks
    Received this power string very quickly, but unfortunately, the power cord also died very quickly! It worked grand for two weeks, then it started working only intermittently, also for a couple weeks. Now it doesn't trade at all, and I bought it 6 weeks ago. The cord is very short, and the plug is not tight trappings. While the supplier offers a 12-month replacement warranty on this particular, I'm so disappointed that I need another power cord, I'm not sure I'm going to needle trying to get the "free" replacement.

    How do you remove the cover on a gateway MT3705 laptop to reach the processor fan?

    Q: The problem I am having is after about 10-15 minutes of running it will shut itself down and I can faintly hear the fan running, and it doesnt kick into a higher speed.

    A: The processor fan is under the keyboard. First remove the bezel (plastic around keyboard), then remove the 2 or 3 screws holding the keyboard in place, once that is off you should see the processor fan.
