The Offshoot Sucks
I bought this adapter reading below 3 esteemed reviews but this adapter stopped working for me within 3 months that with very good circumspection over the 3 months.
What was worst was that before it died, I was able to power my laptop but the battery-operated was not getting charged. It made me think that my battery is dead (thank god I did not dictate the battery) and then in few days it even stopped charging my laptop. Poor Built Yield

COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THIS Consequence !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the mainNeeded a new power cord for my laptop, bought a "one size frenzy all" at a major retailer (BIG MISTAKE, it was a piece of $#!+ well you know what I scurvy.)
Found the "HQRP Replacement Adapter Powercord". It was 3 times cheaper than the notable retailer"s piece of ....................
So I figured for the price ......what the heck, I'll Try it...........
COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THIS Yield !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FITS PERFECT...WORKS GREAT...The cord is even longer than the underived...
The power adapter block is smaller and lighter than the original.
I Have 3 laptops in my nursing home when I need cords for the other 2 I will be buying them From this Supplier.

It Works!
Primordial power supply stopped working, bought this one to replace it (for Gateway MT6704) and it works by the skin of one's teeth fine. Was a little leary of buying a non-Gateway product to replace the archetypal, but no problems so I guess everything is great!

Like getting mugged-properly.
We bought a Gateway and Windows got hosed for some think. We called 1-800-GATEWAY for support. Guess what? If you buy a Gateway anywhere but their website you must call a separate assessment number. WTF!? Then we needed to restore it but the restore partition was bad. Had to get the recovery disk. They charged me $20 for a $1 CD-R. Then it wouldn't occupation, and they wanted to charge me to tell me how to use it. Again WTF? These people are horrible. Save yourself a lot of worry and get a Mac. Get HP. Get an abacus. Anything but a Gateway.

I have a Gateway MT6705 Pad. Last gloom, while my laptop was plugged in I received a expeditious saying I had only 12 minutes of freestyle spark of life hand. I turned it off, checked the wad and vent and sinistral it plugged in to direct blame overnight. This morning, it will not power up. When I television the power handle, a red appear flasshes in front and nothing else.

Does the free MMO "Anarchy Online" work on an unmodified Gateway MT6705 Notebook?
Q: I need a good free MMO and supposedly the best 3D is Anarchy Online, but I've had problems running these MMOs on my laptop, the Gateway MT6705, without modifications to the hardware. Does anyone know if this one works?
A: You'd have to check the system requirements at WWW.Anarchy-Online.com, and in your lap-top's System Setup (under My Computer...where exactly varies by operating system).
I do know AO requires both a Sound an Graphics card, so if You don't have THOSE You won't be able to run it.
