Not quite works, doesn't fit well (Gateway M505 laptop)We ordered this replacement power afford for our old Gateway M505 laptop.
To be direct, this unit doers not fit the M505 well. The connector plugging into the laptop panic, but not perfectly. It feels like it isn't plugged quite all the way in, so it feels like I'm worrisome to jam it into place.
This is a two piece power supply with the "brick" in the middle and a dividable a/c 3-prong power cord going to your wall socket. The connector universal into the brick is very loose and easily falls out. I had another old part from a different power equip which is slightly tighter. Without that I would have to tape the cord on or superglue it in place.
Optimistically we'll replace this computer soon, so I'll do what I need to do to make it work.
I really cannot stand up for this product.
