    I have the HP Compaq 2710p notebook and it wont charge?

    Q: im on it right now.....i have the charger plug in because thats the only way it will work...i had it in all night and it still hasnt charged. when take out the plug it wont turn on because the battery is dead. i dont know why its doing that....the light at the bottom blinks off and on sometimes.

    for those who have this laptop..does it mean its charging when the light is blinking or when it isnt blinking?
    do you know how much the battery costs?

    A: Well if the laptop works while it is plugged in, that means that the battery really is dead, as in it wont ever charge again, You need a new battery.
