    Does HP Compaq nx9040 have builtin Wireless LAN Adapter??

    Q: I can see a "Wireless Network Setup Wizard" in my Control Panel > Network and Internet connections. Does it mean I have a builtin Wireless LAN Card?
    Under network adapters in my device manager, I have "1394 Net Adapter"...I dont know what is it ??? is it a wireless Lan Adapter??

    A: nope, 1394 is a firewire adapter (this is similar like USB).

    wireless adapters are denoted as 1390b/g or Intel Pro/Wireless 3945a/g or probably as 802.11b/g
