HP Pavilion dv2810us or Dell Vostro 1400? Which one should I get?
Q: Both have very similar main specs. I built up the Dell Vostro 1400 to have 2 ghz 800 mhz intel dual processor t7250. The HP Pavillion has an AMD X2 processor. I'm not sure which is regarded as better, although Circuity City claims that the HP bus speed is 1600 mhz, which is twice as fast as the Dell. However the Dell could be XP, and everyone seems to think XP is so much better and faster. Both have 3gb memory and 250 gb space with 5400 ram. I believe the batteries are the same, both offer the simple basics of burning dvds/cd, etc. Both are 14.1" screens, and both cost the same. (Well Dell is 704, HP is 699). Which do you recommend? Which is the bet ter computer? Thanks. REply would be very appreciated.
