Is the Hp Pavilion dv6920us Entertainment Notebook a good laptop?

A: I have a dv6000 series, i have enjoyed everything about it except for the fan. Its located on the back. It sucks air from the bottom and shoots it out the back. This makes it difficult for me to use the laptop on my lap because it burns my leg. I pretty much have to only use it on flat surfaces. Other than its been good, the remote control is cool. I hate vista though, explorer windows are always automatically shutting down on webpages.
