Sony Vaio VGN-NR110E Wireless Issue?
Q: I bought a Sony Vaio VGN-NR110E Laptop running Vista Home, at Fry's Electronics.
Shortly after I Was on the Net and all of a Sudden I lost Connection. I thought it was weird. I looked in the Tray to see if I lost Connection all the way or if it was just the Internet. When I looked I noticed my Wireless Icon was Gone. So I went into the Device Manager and My drivers were also Gone. So I did a couple Virus Scans thinking that was my Problem. Nothing Came up. I used Trend Micro, AVG, and Avast. Still Nothing. I Did a System Restore to see if that would Fix the problem. Still Nothing. This has happened to me 3 times before and They told me each time they fixed it. One of the guys I know that works on the Geek Squad told me a couple other people with my Laptop are having the same Issue. What can I do to fix this permanently.
A: Can't guarantee it, but most likely the issue can be fixed permanently by replacing the wireless card inside the laptop. Manufacturing flaws do happen and that's what this one sounds like.
