Toshiba Satellite A135-S2386 has damaged LCD and trying to boot with external monitor... but got some trouble?
Q: My Toshiba Satellite A135-S2386 has a damaged LCD screen, so I tried to boot it up with an external several monitors and it worked up until the log in screen, every time I get to the log in screen, my monitor shuts off on EVERY monitor I tried. It has to be the laptop so what's the problem? I have tried to press Fn +f5, but that doesnt work either.
A: usually if you leave the laptop closed and boot, it will stay on the external monitor. however you need a keyboard and mouse to work properly. essentially windows is whats killing the external monitor.
