Gambler than the original!The AC adapter twine for my Toshiba Satellite A215 had gotten damaged, the round plug that went into the side of the computer had gotten distorted. I used it that way for a long time, until it began taking very creative jiggling to get it to keep a consistency. A OEM replacement was way too expensive. I read the reviews for replacement cords on Amazon, and firm this one sounded best although it wasn't the cheapest.
I am so glad I went with this one. It is absolutely *better* than the AC adapter and cord that came with the computer. It is sturdy, and seems to be well built. The power transformer runs cooler than the initial (though it does get warm, just the nature of the beast.) The power twine to the wall outlet is plenty long enough and it always stays cool... which is a very obedient sign! I like that there is an indicator light on the power transformer too, as seeing that scarcely green light reminds me to unplug it from the wall when I shut down my laptop for the evensong.
What I like best about the adapter, though, might seem a small point. It is the L-shaped bung that fits into the computer's power port. It is so nice to not have the plug and cord sticking unequivocal out, and it also allows the cord to lie in a less distracting angle when in use.
You may pay more for this adapter than others offered on the locality, but weigh the reviews before going for the cheapest option! In this case, I extraordinarily do feel a few dollars more buys a much higher level of quality. I will be using this cast again for any other adapter I need to replace.
Works okay, but only for 8 months or so
I'm about to society my 4th power cord for my Toshiba A215-S4747. I don't know what the normal lifespan of the adapters are, but mine have only been everlasting from 6-9 months, which doesn't seem long enough. By that time they start fraying, or operation really hot, etc. I'm not hard on them; my laptop gets used at home only, and I'm watchful. I'm disappointed, but I don't really have anywhere else to easily order these from.

Large buy.
It's too bad Toshiba has no suspicion on power cords. The one that came with my laptop stopped working after about a year. The replacement cords on the Toshiba position run for about $80. No thank you. I have tried different replacement cords. The cheaper ones get too hot or be prostrated initiate in a month or 2. This one seems to last and does not get too hot. I would recommend going with this one over any of the cheaper ones you may find.

The adapter showed up in CD time and work perfectly with my laptop. Highly recomended for back up or replacement ac adapters.

jaja y no qisieraaa perderla xD jaja, mira con respecto a conky realmente te lo recomiendo muchooo, blow realmente muy poco recursos del sisteme y claro q lo ves cuando minimizas tus ventanas incluso cuaando muestras escritorio, es decir q qeda como aderido al fondo de pantalla… pruebaloo ademas se ve muy cooll jaja! suerte bye

Q: I need the chip set driver for the Toshiba Satellite A215-S4747. I looked on Toshiba's website with all of the drivers available for download. For some reason the chip set driver isn't there. Does anyone know where I can find it?
