Q: The power jack for my Toshiba Satellite A215-S5849 recently broke, so i removed the hard drive, battery and the memory cards, removed all the screws from the bottom, removed the keyboard and fixed the power jack. I replaced all the things I took out and screwed in all the screws. My power jack is working fine and the notebook is charging but when i press the power button the monitor will not turn on. Please help.
The power and charging lights are on. Tried hooking it up to another monitor, it's getting no signal either. If the hard drive light is also on the same row as the power and charging lights, it is not active.
