    Oct 23, 2008 - Toshiba's Satellite A305-S6864 may not have a name that rolls off the fa. When you compound its big looks with its enormous good and rational $1149 bonus tag, however, it lickety-split becomes a flavoursome-looking budget laptop choosing. Even so, one larger weak point will revolve about off continuing travelers--but I'll get to that ultimately enough.

    Dell XPS M1530 or Toshiba Satellite A305-S6864

    Q: Which is better, the Toshiba Satellite A305-S6864 or the Dell XPS M1530, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    A: It all depends on what you are willing to spend. If you want to spend around $1100USD, then go for the Toshiba, because at that price the Dell would be pretty poorly specced compared to the Toshiba. I personally have the Toshiba and while it is true that it is bulkier than the Dell, it beats it performance wise at the same price point.
    If you are willing to spend some more coin, then go for the Dell and spec it better than the Toshiba. I did consider the M1530 in my laptop shortlist but the Toshiba won out because of its lower price. Its speakers are pretty awesome too.
