Would the Toshiba Satellite A355-S6940 laptop be good for gaming?
Q: And is it an all around good laptop?
A: As an allaround computer it is a good buy. unfortunatly it is not a gaming computer. it does have plenty of ram and a good cpu, but those aren't what make a good gaming computer. the graphics card, or lack there of is an integrated graphics acceleratior. translaiton, sucky gaming performance.
If you don't mind paing a little more, about $100 then you can get the best top of the line gaming laptop for under $800.

it's made by ASUS, a company that makes all the highend parts for the name brands, toshiba included. but they can sell better computers at cheaper prices.
Their warrenty, 2 years partsand labor, one year accidental spills, for free can't be beat either. plug oyu get a better cpu and more ram.
And the graphics card means buissnes. it will play games on all the latest titles at great resolutions.
Take my advise, go with the ASUS if you are looking for a gaming computer.
