Q: Im getting ready to purchase a new laptop. And I wanted to know if the Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5881 laptop is good for playing PC games like the Sims 2 and 3? Please help me out if you can.
One more question. Im also looking at this Toshiba A205-S5000 Laptop , I wanted to know if this one was better or not than the Toshiba L305D-S5881 for The Sims 2 an 3

If you simply look at the Toshiba's performances:
Toshiba: 64MB Turion Video Memory >The Sims 2 only needs 32MB, not even a 'Turion' card (which is very good)
Toshiba: RAM: 3052MB-ram >The Sims 2 only needs 512MB recommended.
Toshiba: 3Gigahrts >The Sims 2 only needs about 1 to 1.5.
So yes, you will be able to play The Sims 2 with expansion-packs on higher settings. And for The Sims 3, you will need about the same as The Sims 2, but a little more.
